Pretty hilarious commercial. Subaru wows automative industry and installs “Wolf Locks” - it’s exactly what it sounds like… locks to keep wolves from getting into the vehicle.
Architecture in Helsinki is a fairly popular Australian indie pop/twee group! This is a fun song to start off the Spring (at least it’s Spring in the midwest… I’m not sure what atmospheric occurrence signifies this… I think it’s the solstice or something, but I’m not really sure what that means. Don’t care.) Enjoy!
Mean Lady describes themselves as 2 kids who want to play at Bonnaroo - and they’re from Delaware… music comes out of Delaware?? They are also 2 kids who like to give their music away for free. What up!

I don’t have a lot of information on Cloud Busey, it seems to be a one man project from a member of a Japanese group called Ice Cream Shout. The one man is Bob Kansai. This song is dreamy and as we all know by now, I’m a sucker for strings. This song is up for a free DL over on his bandcamp

OKOKOK - I just discovered this despite the 1 million plus viewers on YouTube and it having been around since 1992 (when I was merely 6). But this is Elton John and Guns N Roses covering Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”… not usually what I post, but hey - we all need our digressions… such delicious digressions.
Shugo Tokumaru’s video for Lahara is incredibly fun, light-hearted and warm. This is excellent for those of us stuck in the blizzard lands of the Midwest right now. Listen to it while you sled or dig your car out of an ice bank like I did yesterday. This Tokyo based artist’s experimental pop will bring a smile to your face even if you can’t understand what he’s saying. It’s in that crazy language that the Japanese people speak!

Collaboration bands a.k.a “Superbands” are awesome. If you totally dig americana-inspired indie you are going to love the sound Middle Brother (Consiting of the frontmen from Deer Tick, Dawes, and Delta Spirt). The song “Me Me Me” is awesome and reminds me a lot of classic Beatles with a modern twist.
